hi, hello. ✨
on a thursday night this month, i found myself with a free evening due to cancelled plans. the boys had plans with friends from church, so i grabbed my bible, a book, and my current bible study + headed out.
i somehow found myself in the chick-fil-a drive thru, ordering their new honey pepper pimento chicken sandwich for the fourth time that month.🙃
once i secured the bag of goods, i found a random parking lot + savored every bite while watching tiktok. i remembered i had a free birthday reward at dutch bros, so i stopped by + ordered their fall chai, which ended up being way better than i anticipated.
i ended up in the target parking lot, with full intentions to go in + fulfill every stereotype about girls + target + walking around with coffee, but i grabbed my bible study instead.
i sat there for over an hour + laughed as i drove away: never did i think i would consider sitting in the target parking lot + studying the book of leviticus a great way to spend a thursday evening.
welcome to my late thirties, i guess. 😂

“God loves His people + wants to dwell with them. He could have left people unable to stand in His presence, but but instead He made a way for them to dwell with Him, just as He would do again thousands of years later in the person of Jesus Christ.”
