spring blooms + a happy list
hi, hello. ✨
i have sat down to write this newsletter several times over the last two weeks. each time, i walk away from my laptop with zero words. none. nada. zilch. my creative juices are stale + stagnant, it seems.
when this happens, i turn to one practice that always seems to revive my drought, even if for a brief moment: i make a list.
so here is a list of the good things from march:
i woke up to a flat tire one morning. it turned into a work-from-home day + it was delightful.
we took a short stroll around botanica one saturday afternoon. it was chilly, but seeing spring blooms did wonders for my soul.
i helped my mom out with taxes at her office for a couple days.
jared + i sipped coffee in downtown tulsa on our anniversary date.
i tried cava for the first time + loved it!
i sat on the front porch of my childhood home + watched the sunset with my little brother.
my phone’s camera roll is mostly filled with photos of lattes + flowers from the month. (my creativity isn’t all gone, i suppose. 😉)
march was a good month. there were answered prayers + joyous celebrations. the Lord was still good, even in the hard moments. i am grateful for the extra daylight + to bid farewell to the winter season.
three things i loved in march:
springs blooms. 🌸
jared + i celebrated our eighth wedding anniversary in tulsa. we went to the movies, ate at cheesecake factory (their avocado rolls 🔥), grabbed coffee in downtown tulsa, shopped at target, and tried cava for the first time. it was a fun day!
nail wraps from bubblepop. i cannot rave about these enough! they are so easy to apply, last for two weeks, and come in the best pattern + colors.
